Release ENVI-met V5.6

We are thrilled to announce the release of ENVI-met V5.6, packed with significant enhancements and new features to elevate your simulation experience.

Advanced Calculation Routines:
The new version brings notable improvements in our calculation routines, particularly for estimating radiative fluxes in complex environments. These advancements ensure more accurate and reliable simulations, essential for effective environmental analysis.

Simulation of Dry Soils: Understanding the impact of soil conditions on microclimate is crucial. V5.6 introduces the capability to simulate very dry soils, providing a more comprehensive analysis of varying environmental conditions.

Enhanced Turbulence Stability: For those utilizing high-resolution models, the stability of turbulence calculations has been significantly increased, offering more robust and precise modeling outcomes.

Introducing Multi-Data Maps in LEONARDO: A standout addition is the Multi-Data Maps feature in LEONARDO. This innovative tool allows the extraction and storage of data from several time steps in one map. Users can now create dynamic visualizations and animations, both on-screen and as video files, bringing data to life like never before.

WorkspaceManager Re-Coded: To streamline your project management, we’ve re-coded the WorkspaceManager for a more consistent workflow. This includes creating, editing, and importing projects with ease. The new Scenario concept, to be further expanded in future updates, allows for the organization of different project variants in a straightforward manner.

Bug Fixes and More: Alongside these major updates, we’ve implemented several smaller bug fixes to enhance the overall performance and user experience. A complete list of these fixes is available at ENVI-met Updates.

Thank you for being a part of our journey in advancing environmental simulation technology.
